There is one golden rule in the area of recruitment : Whoever responds faster has a higher chance of acquiring quality candidates. But the reality often looks different. Someone writes in the evening, another on the weekend, and a third has a specific question about shifts. And when twenty of these messages pile up at once, the responses are not always as fast as we would like.
That is why we reached for a solution that made sense to us : Manuvia Intelligence Assistant, our MIA.
We chose the name to capture the role of a smart recruiting assistant who works with data, reacts immediately, and helps HR specialists manage a high volume of communication without delays. At the same time, it has a name that is memorable and naturally fits the Manuvia brand.
MIA does not think about when to take a break or try to find an email from last week. It simply works right away. And it works. Both for us and for the applicants. 45% of applicants have moved further in the recruitment process thanks to Mia. In the first months of operation, MIA communicated with 188 applicants, 85 of whom are currently continuing in one of the phases of the recruitment process.
The AI Assistant’s Mission
MIA was given a clear mission:

How Does the AI Assistant Work in Practice?
A job seeker describes the position they are interested in, Mia asks them for important information (such as location), and immediately sends links to job offers with descriptions. No promises like ‘we will get back to you’. The result comes immediately. The applicant thus instantly knows what to choose from.

- User: Hi, I’m looking for a job as a production operator.
- Mia: I can start looking for jobs for the position of production operator. Please let me know what location you prefer so I can find the most suitable offers for you.
- User: I prefer working in the Ostrava area.
- Mia: I have found several job positions in the Ostrava area for production operators. Here are the details: […] Please let me know if you are interested in any of the positions, and I will provide you with more information, or I can recommend you right away.
Alternatively, it is enough to enter contact details, and Mia automatically registers the applicant for the relevant job position without the need to fill in anything else.

- User: Recommend? I am most interested in the last offer – Brembo.
- Mia: To recommend you for this position, I first need to get to know you better. Could you please briefly describe your work experience so I can verify whether you meet the requirements for this position at the Brembo foundry? For example: Do you have experience working in production and specifically in foundries? Are you willing to do physical work? Thank you!
- Mia: Great! The Finishing work position at the Brembo foundry (immediate start) includes the following: Location: Ostrava. Salary: 39 000 – 42 000 CZK/month. What you will do: Physically demanding manual work in the production of brake parts. Benefits: Immediate start with the company (stable employment), shift bonuses, benefits, and the possibility of advances. Shift operation: It is necessary to count on a shift work regime. If this suits you, I need your name, surname, phone number, or email, and I can recommend you.
